Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital (DYPDCH), Pune was established in 2000.

It is a constituent unit of Dr.D.Y. Patil University, Pimpri, Pune. The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra.

The aim of the college is to provide quality education and advanced training to the students, thus producing competent dental graduates and postgraduates, who have sound knowledge and excellent skills for rendering the best of oral health care to the society.

The institution has been identified by the Dental Council of India as one of the four collaborating institutions in the MOU, entered into by Dental Council of India with the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University, Boston, USA.
