Dr.B.R Ambedkar Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital was established in 1990.

The College is affiliated to Magadh University and approved by Dental Council of India(DCI), New Delhi.

The institute has been provided with good library with sufficient number of books, latest journals & up-to-date periodicals. Students are advised to make full us of the same. Internet (Broadband) facility is also available in the library with sufficient numbers of computer.

The College is located in the out skirts (West) of Patna on the Bailey Road, about 10 km from Patna Junction and about 4 km from Patna Air Port, in a peaceful atmosphere.

The institute is running in three huge buildings having separate Administrative & Academic Block, Dental Hospital and 100 bedded General (Medical) Hospital with well equipped laboratories.
