Dr. Ashutosh Das Memorial PTTI (DADMPTTI), Hooghly was established in 2003. The college offers two years of Diploma in Education course. The institution was named after the freedom fighter Dr. Ashutosh Das, who was also a physician and devoted his service for the mass of the rural Bengal. The institute is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Primary Education and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college consists of all the basic amenities in its campus, to ensure the overall development of the students. The teachers of this Institute have been doing their level best to impart the best sort of training to the trainees hare. Special stress is laid upon both the curricular and co-curricular activities of trainees, educational tours, Computer training, games and sports and participation multifarious social work here.
