Dr.A.S. College of Agricultural Engineering, Ahmednagar was established in  1969 and is affilaited to Mahatma Phule Agricultural Univesity, Rahuri. It is named after late Dr. Annasaheb Shinde, former Union Minister of State for Agriculture.  

• The College was established  with the admission capacity of 20 students for B.Tech.  
• At present the College admits 50 students for under gradaute.
• In the year 1982, post graduate degree programme was started with the admission capacity of 8 students and is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri.
