Doon Valley Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET), Karnal was established in 1970.
Its affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
This institute operated under the umbrella of Doon Valley Trust; created for charitable purpose to impart quality education in various technical fields.
The college was established with a view to impart need based quality education in various fields of Engineering and Technology.
