Don Bosco College Sulthan Bathery (Dist. Wayand) is Roman Catholic Christian Minority College was established on 5th August 2005 and managed by Salesian Society of Catholic Priests and Brothers (R), which was established in 1859.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with University of Calicut, Malappuram and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) under Act, 1956.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.30 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 1st May 2015.

The college has been awarded a certificate of ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

The aim of the college is to provide the integral formation of students’ character by imparting sound education in every aspect of life also enable the young to find meaning in life; to seek guidance and strength from above, to foster a spirituality that can sustain them through the inevitable ups and downs of life, according to each one’s belief and religious background.

It is a co-educational self-financed Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Wayanad played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

Don Bosco has about 2500 institutions, including 15 universities and 58 professional colleges, in 132 countries. Salesians came to India in 1906. It is recognized by the Government of India as the single largest provider of technical education in India, second only to the Government.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the University of Calicut, Malappuram.

The college offers three years undergraduate and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with various specializations under the University of Calicut, Malappuram. It also offers Add-On course.

Students should have to choose one honor (core) subject with two or more as subsidiary (elective) subjects for the specific undergraduate streams.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the University of Calicut, Malappuram, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
