Dogra Law College came into being in 2000.

It is managed and run by Dogra Educational Trust.

The college is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institution.

Affiliated to University of Jammu (Jammu), Dogra Law College is approved and accredited by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi.

Its aim is yet to reach its final stage, but the students of all the colleges in the country would have to focus the attention of all the people by giving Knowledge of legal terms, through participation in Legal Aid Programme and conducting debates on legal aspects with full involvement of the public.
