Doaba Women Institute of Engineering & Technology (DWIET), Kharar was established in 1998. It is administered by dedicated team of professionals of Doaba Khalsa Trust, comprising NRIs and resident Indians.

College is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and Patiala, PSBTE & IT Chandigarh. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
