DMI College of Engineering, Kanyakumari has been established by Rev. Fr. A. E. Arul Raj OMI and managed by DMI Sisters.

This is approved By Government of Tamilnadu and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. College is affiliated to Anna University.

• The mission of the college is to  educate the poor and needy students and to shape them as disciplined engineers.
• DMI Engineering College has been established with a long-range vision of shaping itself into a premier technical Institution in the country offering UG and PG courses.
• It aims to develop itself into a research center.
