DMI College of Education, Chennai was established in January 2008.

Initially DMI College of Education is affiliated to Madras University, the college finds their present affiliation from Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.Approved by the N.C.T.E (National Council for Teacher Education), the college is functioning under the management of The Society of Daughters of Mary Immaculate.

The College was set up with an objective of providing high quality education to the aspirants. D.M.I College of Education has equipped itself with all the necessary facilities.

The College is located in a backward area Mevalur Kuppam’B’Village, Palanchoor, Nazarthpet post, Kancheepuram District offering Co-Education.

DMI College of Education is accessible by road to the district head quarters of Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur and surrounding areas as well as a vast number of villages in and around the hamlet of Palanchoor, It is on Chennai – Bangalore high way.
