Directorate of Distance Education, Guru Jambheshwar University, Haryana was established in 1997.

Its affiliated to Guru Jambheshwar University

with four different programmes namely; MBA, PGDCA, BBA & CIC. At present 17 undergraduate and post-graduate programmes are being conducted and the learning is imparted in two modes, including directly by the directorate and through the study centres. 

The aim of Directorate of Distance Education is to reach the unreached and provide learning at the door step. The Directorate provides the facility to the students for enrollment to various distance education programs through the study centers as well as directly through the Directorate.  

The main goal of the Directorate of Distance Education Guru Jambheshwar University is to facilitate and promote studies, research and consultancy in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of Technology, Pharmacy, Environmental Studies.
