Dharma Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Sriperumbudur was established in 1997 by an eminent Varma Physician Dr.V.Dharmalimgam for promoting the growth and development of Ayurveda for evolving high standards of teaching, training and patient care and also to promote scientific outlook of Ayurveda. The College is recognized by Department of AYUSH, Government of India and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi and affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University. Dharma Ayurveda Medical College is imparting the BAMS degree course. Sriperumbudur is the birth place of Sri Ramnuja, famous Saint and Social Reformer. The climate is in contentious.
