Dhanam College of Education, Dharapuram was established in 2008.

The College is spread over an area of 5.2 acres of land and stands on a total built up area of 11,250 sq ft.

The College is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.

The College is a self-financed, co-educational institute offering one year duration Bachelor of Education programme.

The College is approved by N.C.T.E (National Council for Teacher Education), was set up with an objective of providing additional and better higher education in the rural region. Dhanam College of Education has equipped itself with modern facilities.
