Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education for Women, Perambalur was established in 2005 managed under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational & Charitable Trust.

Initially affiliated to Bharathidasan University, the college is presently affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.

Functioning under the management of Dhanalakshmi Educational and Charitable Trust, the college was set up with an objective of uplifting rural students of the underdeveloped region.

The educational institution holds the distinction of being accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B Grade.

Approved by the N.C.T.E (National Council for Teacher Education), Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education for Women has equipped itself with all the necessary facilities.
