Tapi Valley Education Society's Dhanaji Nana Mahavidyalaya, Faizpur  (Dist. Jalgaon) was commonly known as Dhanaji Nana Mahavidyalaya, Faizpur was established on 1st June 1961 and managed by Tapi Valley Education Society in 1960.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

It is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) in September 1994 & 12(B) in June 1990 under Act, 1956. 

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.92 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 16th September 2011.

This is an older institution functioning in the process of extension of education. The institution aims to protect and nurture the life of rich sustaining composite culture as well as grand historic tradition.

The college stands for weak and deprived of the society and cater to their educational needs at the reasonable cost and transform their lives by providing them higher education with par excellence.

The main aim of the college is to lead the downtrodden from darkness to light, to spread the fragrance of this holy site, to break all the barriers and strive for the right, to create a future gloriously and bright, to bring here together all knowledge stream and to let everyone freely aspire-are the dreams.

It is co-educational private institute, providing a regular course which is located in the urban part of Jalgaon played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
 
The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

At present, the college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce streams with various optional specializations under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune.

The college offers conventional UG, PG, & Doctorate courses in Science, Arts, and Commerce streams with various specializations. Besides these, several need-based Certificate and Diploma courses are offered to students.

It also offers HSC Vocational courses under the affiliating Director Vocational Education and Training, Maharashtra State for those who have completed their SSC from the recognized board.

The institution has given priority to teaching and learning process. It has created a better teaching and learning environment in the campus through improved infrastructural and human resources.
