Devamatha Arts & Science College Paisakary (Dist. Kannur) is a Christian Minority College was established in 2003 and managed by Devamatha Educational Trust (R).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Kannur University, Kannur and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The aim of the college is provide quality education to all categories and grades, to give integral formation and efficient coaching to the students for advancement of education and knowledge in arts, science, literature, humanities and all other useful subjects irrespective of caste, creed, sex with special emphasis to the development of the spiritual and cultural heritage.

It is a co-educational private Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Kannur played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Kannur University, Kannur.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams and offers two years of postgraduate courses in Arts and Commerce with various specializations under the Kannur University, Kannur. It also offers Diploma course.

The college also offers distance education mode courses under the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.

Students should have to choose one honor (core) subject with two or more as subsidiary (elective) subjects for the specific undergraduate streams.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by the Kannur University, Kannur, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
