Dhule Education Society's College of Education (DES), Dhule was established in June 1961 and managed by Charitable Trust named Dhule Education Society.

The college is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.87 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 5th January 2013.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course in the Marathi /Hindi/Sanskrit/English languages for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. The above courses run by the college for service teachers by the college. For Vocational B.Ed. course winter and summer sessions arranged as per the schedule is given by YCMOU, Nasik.

The admission procedure is run by Yashwantarao Chavan Open University, Nasik. The courses like M.A./ M.Sc. (Subject Communication) course is also arranged by this college for the professional development of students and teachers.
