Department of Foods and Nutrition-Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (DFN-MDSU), Ajmer was established in 1999.
Its affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Universit.
To promote the understanding of the science of Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics and their applications in promoting trained professionals as Nutritionists, Dietitians, Food Service Managers, Food Technologist, Food Product Development Staff for professional institutions and organizations.
The Department employs modern teaching pedagogy which includes case studies, projects, seminars, presentations etc along with latest teaching technologies.
The teaching is organised in newly constructed Kanad Bhawan.
