Department of Education RKDF University, Bhopal was formerly known as Vedica College of Education, Bhopal comes in the Ram Krishna Dharmarth Foundation (RKDF) University Campus was established in 2003 and managed by RKDF Group.

RKDF University, Bhopal was established in 2012 and managed by Ayushmati Education and Social Society (R).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal. It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) to offer B.Ed., M.Ed., & D.Ed. courses.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Bhopal played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The group is offering education since 1995 and has a network of colleges in areas of engineering, management, hotel management, education, homeopathic, dental and nursing, and pharmacy located in cities of Bhopal, Indore, Sehore and Rewa to promote equity and access to education in central India.

At first instance, the course of B.Ed. started in 2005 and gradually to fulfill the need of the society, Diploma in Education(D.El.ED.) started in 2008 and Master in Education (M.Ed.) in 2009 were introduced.

The group has the capacity to enroll annually more than 14,000 students in different disciplines.

With a motive to give “education to all” the RKDF Group further decided to establish a university with multidiscipline; and thus emerged the  RKDF University, Bhopal sponsored by the Ayushmati Educational and Social Society on 14th February 2012

The college also received the many achievements awards in the field of Teacher Training at Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Elementary Teacher Training (E.T.T.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating university State Council of Educational Research Training (SCERT), Bhopal.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
