Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot was established on 1992.

Its affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

The college is managed by Dashmesh Society, located in the Malwa region of Punjab State.

The institute imparts BDS degree which is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The dental college is also recognized by Dental Council of India. The dental college is a component of the Dashmesh Group of Institutions which is a renowned educational group in Punjab and possesses various schools and colleges all over the state.

Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Faridkot will go down in the annals of dentistry as the first Institution of Malwa region of Punjab in the private sector.

The brains behind this venture who are none other than its Chairman S. Karnail Singh Doad and Director Dr. Gursevak Singh will always be remembered by those who value dentistry and love Punjab.

Aim of the Dashmesh Society is not only to produce persons of high moral of character and spiritual values but is to make them able to imbibe the quality of dedication to the nation, love for the country courage, discipline, integrity, honesty, hardworking and truth full living.

Dashmesh Society also aims to establish the Institution as one of the finest Institution of the country having Modern equipments, material facilities, reputed staff and proper building etc. The college had their own quota of teething troubles but having got over them all.

The college now nestles in a state-of-the-art type magnificent four-storey, four-crore worth building that serves as a light-house amidst vast sea of dental-ailment prone five sandy districts of the region.
