D.M.S.S.V. College of Engineering, Machilipatnam was established in 1980. It is one of the oldest self financed institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh to impart high quality of technical education in the engineering discipline.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada.
