About Dada Dukhayal College of Education
Dada Dukhayal College of Education (DDCE), Kutch was established on 4th December 2004 under the management of Gandhidham Maitri Mandal (Formerly known as Gandhidham Education Society) which was established in 1952.
It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to K.S.K.V. Kachchh University, Bhuj (Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University, Bhuj) and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.68 on a 4 Point Scale) on 29th January 2009.
The college was established in 2004 as the fulfillment of the dream of Late Dada Hundraj Dukhyal. Over 3 years of existences, Dada Dukhyal College of Education has renewed its pledge to become a top class institute by raising its internal capabilities and networking with other institutes of repute and industries giants.
The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
The college also has a Contact Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi to offer two years Bachelor of Education Course (B.Ed.) for those who has completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Dada Dukhayal College of Education (DDCE), Kutch in its various departments.

- The college has a library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects to meet the needs of the students as well as the teachers with reading room facility. Daily Newspapers and selected journals are also regularly subscribed
- State of the Art Laboratories with sufficient space and all the necessary equipment are made available to various departments
- The college has taken up the responsibility of imparting necessary, effective and practical education to the students so that they can reach great heights and attain maximum achievements in their life
- The college has hostel facilities for boys and girls separately with all required facilities
- There is a sophisticated canteen with sitting arrangement for 40 students at a time, which provides a wide variety of hygienic food with the subsidized price
- The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to assure the quality of the college in the year 2006-07
- The college runs a canteen inside the campus where staff and students can have meals and snacks prepared in a hygienic manner and at an affordable cost
- Internet & Wi-Fi facilities may be availed by the students and teachers as per their needs
- The college has got a large playground, Basket Ball court and facilities and equipment for different sports like Cricket, football, Volleyball, Hockey, badminton, Table tennis and so on
- A health care has been started in the college for the benefit of students and the local population. Two highly qualified Doctors weekly visit the center. Checkups are done and medicines are given free of costs
- State Government and the Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- The institute provides the training facility like- face to face interview, resume making, communication skills, that help the students to face the campus recruitment.
- For every course, the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mold them into industry ready professionals
