D.R.K. College of Engineering & Technology (DRKCET), Hyderabad was established in 2006. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

DRK College of Engineering & Technology (DRKCET) is founded by Sri. D. B Chandra Sekhar Rao, in the year 2006, registered under DRK EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. This institute is established, in furtherance of its objectives to fulfill the long felt educational needs of the state and nation.

DRKCET is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Offering three B.Tech programmes (Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering), Four M.Tech programmes and Management programmes (MBA). The college is one of the well known and reputed institutions with well qualified and highly experienced faculty. The institution started with baby steps, on the path heading towards excellence in offering technical education, crossing all the challenges and accomplishing the required criteria.

To provide the foundation and enable the students to fulfill their aspirations to become competent Engineering Professionals, College is equipped with excellent infrastructure. The college has a large, modern and spacious structure standing tall with a sprawling campus. The beautiful building comprises of two blocks, with new fangled laboratories, class rooms, seminar halls, and play ground.
