Commits Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, Bangalore was established in 2001.
It was inaugurated by then Governor of Karnataka, Smt Rama Devi.
The institute gives emphasis on all-round development of the students by providing equal importance to theory and practice, hand in hand interaction with industries and dedicated teachers.
The objective of the institute is to enable students to position themselves as multi skilled and multifaceted media professionals.
