College of Teacher Education, Tinsukia in 1993. It is one of the premier institute of education in the region Tinsukia.

The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college was set up with an objective of promoting quality education in the region and has well experinced teachers to enlighten the aspiring teachers.

Students here are admitted who completed there graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks in eligibility for admission.

The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
