College of Engineering Kottarakkara (CEK), Kottarakkara was established in 2004.

The institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to CUSAT.

• College was established under aegis of Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD).
• IHRD is an autonomous institute established by the Government of Kerala.
• It has a very large network of educational institutions with more than 50 institutions under it including engineering colleges, applied science colleges, polytechnics and technical higher secondary.
