College of Agriculture, University of Agricultural Sciences, Hassan  was established in 1996.

Its affiliated to Mysore University.

and is a college of University of Agricultural Sciences. The Agricultural College, Hassan, was inaugurated by Shri.H.D.Devegowda, the then Prime Minister of India.

From 1996 to 2005, it was functioning at GKVK, Bangalore and was shifted to its present new campus in the year 2006.

The college has been accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. Campus of College of Agriculture, University of Agricultural Sciences - The College is located near Karekere, at 19 Kms from Hassan on National Highway-48 (Bangalore-Mangalore) towards Bangalore.

Hassan is well connected by road and train facilities.
