Chintamanrao College of Commerce, Pune was established in 1943.

The college has been named after Raja of Sangli-Late Padmabhushan Shrimant Chintamanrao Patwardhan.

The College is being run by the Deccan Education Society, Pune and is affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

The college is situated on Sangli-Miraj road and a fair frequency of city-bus service conveniently connects it with both the cities.

Separate divisions have been started for students desiring to receive instructions in English medium.
