Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Education, Kolhapur is among the known institutes of the state. Established in 1990, the educational institution is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhopal. One year of full-time undergraduate degree level course of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) is conducted by the autonomous college, which is working under the guidance and sponsorship of Balasaheb Mane Education Trust.
