Chandrakanta Hazarika B.Ed College, Dibrugarh was established in 1994. It is situated at Milan Nagar, Dibrugarh, Assam.

It is a Co-educational institution imparting two years B.Ed course under Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh with a view to provide teacher education and practical training and to promote thinking on new concepts and techniques in relevant fields of knowledge and thier application to indigenous conditions with an intake capacity of 80 seats.

The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.

Students here are admitted who completed there graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.) and Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks in eligibility for admission.

• All students are required to obtain Identity Card on payment of Rs.10/- at the time of admission
• A student must carry identity card while coming to the college
• A student shall attend a minimum of 75% of the total number of classes held
• If the percentage of attendance does not fall below 60%, the student may be permitted to appear as a Non-collegiate student on payment of prescribed fine
