Ch. Ishwar Singh Mahila Shikshan Mahavidyalaya (CISMSMV), Fatehpur-Pundri (formerly as Kanya Shikshan Mahavidyalaya) was established in November 1993 by Late Ch. Ishwar Singh.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur in 1997.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.39 on a 4 Point Scale) on 27th March 2011.

The college offers one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers one-year Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their B.Ed. course with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university is eligible to apply for this course.

It also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with a minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college is eligible to apply for this course.
