Ch. Devi Lal College of Education, Yamuna Nagar (CDL College of Education) was established on 8th July 2004 under the management of Shri Ram Jan Kalyan Shiksha Samiti.

It is a pioneer institute in the field of education and the college is possessed with the objective of turning out high caliber professionals to meet rapidly growing needs in the educational field.

It is situated on the outskirts of Jagadhri. Jagadhri is a city of historical, spiritual and among the leading industrious in India.

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.15 on a 4 Point Scale) on 4th September 2010.

The college offers one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers one-year Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their B.Ed. course with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university is eligible to apply for this course.
