Centre for Mountain Tourism & Hospitality Sutdies (CMTHS), Uttarakhand was established in 1976.

The college is affiliated to the H.N.B Garhwal University.

Since its inception, the centre has worked ceaselessly in the area of tourism, providing the industry, firstly the information through various research papers, journals and publications.

Secondly, the methods and techniques, through various seminars, conferences and training, and lastly the most important, the trained human resource to lead the industry.

The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
