Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Madurai was established in 2009.

Its affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.

It is a Public Charitable Trust and functioning as an independent state level entrepreneurship development institution recognized by Ministry of Small Scale Industry, Government of India, New Delhi and Industries Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai.

There mission is to make any person understand, actualize and energize his/her inner potential for positive action.

The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities.
