Cambridge College of Education, Birar (Jhajjar Dist.) was established in 2006 due to unswerving efforts made by Sh. Sajjan Singh Yadav under the aegis of a trust named "AHIRWAL SEWA TRUST" for the advancement of his own people under the notion ‘service to humanity’.
The main aim behind the establishment of this institution was to provide a platform for professional education to the educationally backward region of Southern Haryana which consists Dadri, Rewari, Jhajjar.
The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur to offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) & Master of Education (M.Ed.) courses.
The institute offers one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
The college also offers one-year Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their B.Ed. course with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university is eligible to apply for this course.
