C. U. Shah College of Pharmacy & Research (CCPR), Gujarat was established in 2004.

The college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The college was established by Vardhman Bharti Trust.  

The college is a co-educational and self-financed institute.

The mission of the institute is to strive for creating and sustaining a community of learning in which students acquire knowledge and learn to apply it professionally with due consideration for ethical, ecological, and economic issues by creating an excellent educational environment with dedicated faculty for preparing quality professionals in the field of pharmacy education, research, industry, hospital and other health related areas.
