C.K. Raghavan Memorial College of Teacher Education, Wayanad was established in the year of 2005 under the management of C.K.Raghavan Memorial Educational Charitable Trust. It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

CKRM College of Education is a self-financing college, managed by the CKRM Trust. The teacher education was started in the year 2005. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and recognized by the NCTE.

It is co-educational institute, providing a regular course which is located in the rural part of the Kidangoor played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level.

But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at C.K. Raghavan Memorial College of Teacher Education, Wayanad in its various departments.
