Started in 1969 as Navgujarat Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, taking care of graduation courses in Commerce and Law, and renamed as C.C.Sheth College of Commerce in 1995, this noon college is a sister institution of Navgujarat Group of Colleges run by Vidya Bhavan Trust.

Navgujarat Group of Colleges is the dream of a college Professor translated into reality with committed efforts of Vidyabhavan Trust.

Late Shri. M.C.Shah, the founder Managing Trustee of the Trust recognized educational back-up needed by Ahmedabad in the post Independence period and started morning Commerce, Arts and Law colleges at Navgujarat Campus on Ashram road, Ahmedabad...

Efforts of the trust were responded well by families in and around the city. The overwhelming response of the society added fillip to the spirit of the trust.

Navgujarat Group of Colleges flowered up with one more commerce college in the noon time, B.C.A college and a multi-course wing with short term courses in photography, cooking, journalism etc.

Navgujarat Campus enjoys special privileges in the form of good geographical links for campus visitors, learned staff, disciplined students, effective leadership of Principals and, nevertheless, 'blank-cheque' support of the trustees to sprout as a facilitation centre for about 6500 scholars, whose career development and cultural orientation stand on our top-priority.
