Bishop Speechly College for Advanced Studies (BISCFAS), Kottayam was established in 2006.

The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.

The college is named after Bishop J.M. Speechly, the first Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Central Travancore and owned by the C.S.I Madhya Kerala Diocese.

The vision of the college is to create, build and mould competent and value oriented human resources.

It is aimed to work with and for the people in harmony with the environment, in agreement with the cultures and with the support of state-of-the-art technologies, methods and a team of vibrant academic faculties.

The mission of the college is to impart M G University affiliated innovative and socially relevant academic programs, to create state of the art infrastructure facilities, to build up a strong research platform and to equip the academic community to build a strong career.
