Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centre (BIT), Deoghar was established in 2007 as the eighth of the Institute’s campuses within India offering undergraduate programs in different streams of engineering.

• The institute was established by Jharkhand Government, willing to spread the academic excellence of BIT further across the state.
• As per the provisions of the MoU the Deoghar Extension Centre offers B.E. programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
