Bhaskarrao Karve Adhyapika Vidyalaya (D. Ed), Pune started its first academic session in 1945 with the view to impart quality education to the aspirants.

The educational institution is affiliated to Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research & Training, Pune (Maharashtra SCERT) and has attained the recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal to conduct two years of Diploma in Education (D. Ed) course.
