Bhaskarrao Karve Adhyapika Vidyalaya (D.Ted), Erandwane (Dist. Pune) was established in 1945 and managed by Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS), Pune which was established 14th June 1896 with the view to impart quality education to the aspirants.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
The college is affiliated to Maharashtra State Council of Education Research & Training, Pune and it is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal.

It is well-known for high-quality teacher training. In the quest to accomplish its aim the educational College boasts of being fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. The college offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating university.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
