Bharat Ratna Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (BIGCE), Solapur was established in 2006.  

College is affiliated to Solapur University, Maharashtra and approved by All Indian Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

College is established with the aim of imparting quality education.

The institute has fully developed infrastructure and provides four years course leading to Bachelors degree of Solapur University in six branches.

Many of the students were toppers in university examinations and are in great demand in industries of metro cities.
