Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Fine Arts, Pune was established on 31st July 2000 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam under the management of Bharati Vidyapeeth and it is proud to be the first and India's best to introduce the degree in Fine Arts through the establishment of Bharati Vidyapeeth's Bharati Kala Mahavidyalaya (College of Fine Arts).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. It is recognized & approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The institution is committed to providing quality higher education in art and its allied fields, to all the students desiring to do so. The Institute also works towards creating art awareness in the society by various means.

The college is known for its academic excellence not only in Maharashtra but also across India. Students are encouraged at all levels, to take part in various state and national competitions, exhibitions, sports and other extra-curricular activities and has produced excellent results every year.

The college was established with a view to making education in various art faculties available to the students. The institution is to train young artists for professional careers in allied fields and create art awareness.

The college offers 4 years of program in Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) Degree. The teaching faculty includes highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and student-caring teachers. The faculty is the recipient of various State and National Awards.

The minimum eligibility for the students is 12th pass min, 50%, (45% for Reserved Category as per norms) + MH-AAC-CAT Centralized Aptitude Test (CAT) by Government of Maharashtra, conducted by Directorate of Art, Maharashtra State.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students in its various departments.

The college has well equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities.
