Bharathi Women's College (Autonomous), Chennai was established in 1964.

Its managed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with the noble mission to fulfill and materialise the higher education dreams and needs of the socially and economically disadvantaged young women of North Chennai.

The college is affiliated to University of Madras and is approved by govt. of Tamil Nadu.
