Bhagwati Institute of Technology and Science was established in 1970.

Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) is approved by AICTE, New Delhi (Ministry of Education, Govt. of India) and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (Formerly UPTU, Lucknow); CCS University, Meerut and Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (BTE), Lucknow. It was established in the year 2008 with a definite vision and a clear mission to impart quality education by adopting audio, visual, contextual and practical methods to enrich students’ theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The lush green campus spread over 15 acres lies in the outskirts of Industrial City of Ghaziabad and is located on National highway (N.H.–9) on Delhi-Meerut Expressay, well connected with state and interstate Lucknow-Moradabad bound bus/train services, in addition to autorikshaw services at high frequency.

It aims to impart class education to  students with much emphasis on, latest knowledge, analytical skills and practical exposure, management competence, an innovative and initiating approach to work, and to render quality services in the field of technical education.

The institute also imparts futuristic technical education and instill high patterns of discipline through  dedicated staff, who have set global standards, making  students technologically superior and ethically strong, who in turn shall improve the quality of life of the human race.
