The Times Group established Bennett University in 2016 with a vision to provide quality education and establish itself as one of the best private universities in India to impart interdisciplinary education. It was established by the Act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh as a private university.

Bennett University located at Greater Noida, commenced its operations on 08 Aug 2016.
