Balaji College of Arts, Commerce & Science (BCACS), Pune was established in 1973 managed by the Sri Balaji Society.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and it is approved by Govt. of Maharashtra also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The aim of the institute is to provide the ideal academic atmosphere for the pursuit of excellence in higher education in science, commerce, and arts and make higher education relevant to the knowledge era.
At present, the college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce stream with various streams under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune.
It also offers various undergraduate courses like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BBM, BSW, BCA. The college has a fine team of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and staff members.
A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students in its various departments. The college has well equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities.
The institution has given priority to teaching and learning process. It has created a better teaching and learning environment in the campus through improved infrastructural and human resources.

- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject.

- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
- The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
- The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
