Basava Academy of Engineering (BAE), Bangalore was established in 2002 under the flagship of Sri Belimatha Maha Samsthana socio cultural and education trust.

• The college is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University.
• The college has initiated E D P programs in collaboration with micro, small and medium eterprises (MSME), Bangalore and AWAKE Bangalore and to enhance the E D P, they have started incubation centre in collaboration with local Industries.
