Bantala (Degree) College of Higher Education, Bantala (Dist. Angul) was established in 1992.

The college is affiliated with Utkal University, Bhubaneswar recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams with various specializations under Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Students should have to choose one honor (core) subject with two or more as subsidiary (elective) subjects for the specific undergraduate streams.
